Alive Motion Pictures was founded in 2006 with the vision of creating inspiring media through great story-telling. We produce original television programs, branded content videos, and commercials.
We work closely with clients to determine and deliver the optimal creative vision for each project. Our philosophy is simple: we care about the details.
We are a horizontally integrated company that employs the same production methods that make major motion pictures and national commercial spots a success: hiring the right people and right tools for each job… This keeps the client costs low, and quality high.

Quinn Merkeley is Alive Motion Pictures founder and oversees creative production.
Quinn is a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's Directors' Lab, the National Screen Institutes Totally Television program, the University of Manitoba's Film Studies program, and interned with legendary director Ron Howard.
Quinn has directed, written, and produced content for major commercial clients as well as documentary and dramatic programs featured on Rogers Media, Global, CW networks, Yes TV, Vision TV, MTS, Food Network, HGTV, Slice, and the CBC.
